As well as the Enhanced Capital Allowances offered at key sites in the region, Business Rate Relief is also available to qualifying businesses in other selected locations. This important financial incentive could be worth up to £275,000 to your business over a five-year period.

Supporting hi-tech SME growth

In total, around 53 hectares consisting of a mix of development sites and available property has been earmarked for Business Rate Relief across the Sheffield City Region Enterprise Zone. These sites provide appropriate facilities for the growth and development of the small and medium-sized businesses that qualify for Business Rate Relief. The incentive is designed to build networks of fast-growing SMEs supported by robust supply chains and collaborative working in key locations throughout the region.

Companies from across the region’s target sectors of modern manufacturing and technology are eligible for these business rate discounts, which are worth up to £275,000 per business over five years.
